The Farley's and their Sunday school class allowed us to join in their fun camping and going to see the "Promise" on Saturday Night.  We had a total of four campers and camp sites with additional people showing up on Saturday to raise the total people to around 30.

Dinosaur Footprints... fossils    Dinosaur Footprints... fossils

Very recognizable dinosaur tracks can be found... several vantage points even from the bank of the river.

Deer behind our Campsite

We stayed in Campsite #37... deer came up into our camp twice.

Just outside of camp, towards the front gate... there were a couple of "does" and a "fawn" grazing

Swimming in the Paluxy    Swimming in the Paluxy

Lots of fun in the Paluxy River... the "cool" spot!  These pictures are looking up and

down stream of the "Blue Hole"... a swimming hole that reaches 23+ feet deep.  Ruth is in the tube in the left picture.

The river allows for you to "tube"... sort of... lots of getting out, walking over the shallow spots

and then getting back on the tube... a few water features were fun enough that you did enjoy

them more than once.  In the images are Bill, Ruth, Glenda, Kara, Kristin, Cassie, Jason, Charlie

Jumping in the Paluxy    Jumping in the Paluxy    Jumping in the Paluxy    John jumping in the Paluxy

There was a ledge... somewhat dangerous (slick) that you could run and jump out into the river.

John (last image) had the best form by far!

One unfortunate boy slipped, fell and broke his arm... a special thanks to Bill and his quick
instincts and Scout training, for jumping in and pulling him from the water.

On Saturday night, everyone went to see in Glen Rose, TX
